About AutoSmallBiz

AutoSmallBiz is an informational website at autosmallbiz.com about artificial intelligence, automation, productivity, and software for small business owners. AutoSmallBiz is owned and operated by Gleb Bakhtin as an individual. In this policy, “we” and “our” refer to Gleb Bakhtin in connection with operating AutoSmallBiz. You can reach the site operator through the Contact page.

This policy explains our handling of information collected through this website. WordPress.com and other service providers also process information under their own notices. Their processing is separate from the choices we make as the site operator.

Information you choose to provide

The contact form asks for your name, email address, and message. We use this information to review and respond to inquiries, address feedback, and maintain related correspondence. We may also receive information you include in follow-up messages.

Please submit only information you are authorized to share. Do not send passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, or confidential customer records through the contact form. Submitting an inquiry is not a request to join a marketing mailing list.

How contact messages are handled

Our contact form uses Jetpack Forms on WordPress.com. Form responses may be stored in the WordPress.com administration area and are delivered to the site operator’s Gmail inbox. Copies may therefore exist in both the hosting service and email system. Relevant provider information is available in Automattic’s notice for visitors to hosted sites and Google’s Privacy Policy.

We use contact details to handle the inquiry for which they were provided. We do not post contact form messages publicly as part of the normal inquiry process.

Technical information, cookies, and platform features

WordPress.com hosts this website on its managed hosting platform, with Jetpack features enabled. Depending on the features used and your interaction with the site, Automattic may collect technical details such as IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, access times, and approximate location. Its services may also process search queries and other information entered on the site.

Cookies and similar technologies may support site operation, preferences, statistics, security, and advertising. The cookies you encounter can depend on your location, whether you are signed in to WordPress.com, and enabled platform features. See Automattic’s visitor privacy notice and Cookie Policy for details.

The light/dark appearance switch may store your display preference in your browser so it can be remembered when you return. You can reset locally stored website data through your browser settings. Choosing a display mode is separate from any advertising consent. You can use browser settings to manage cookies and any privacy controls offered by WordPress.com. Blocking cookies can affect features, and browser cookie controls do not necessarily disable every form of technical data collection.

Service providers and other disclosures

Information is handled by providers needed to host the site, deliver and store messages, and support security or spam prevention. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to investigate misuse or protect the site and its users.

Our providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their notices describe their processing and any safeguards they provide. This policy does not promise that information remains in a particular country.

Advertising, affiliate links, and external sites

The following paragraphs describe planned AutoSmallBiz monetization. They do not mean that publisher advertising, affiliate tracking, or sponsorships have already been enabled.

AutoSmallBiz plans to monetize the website in the future through display advertising, affiliate links, sponsored articles, and paid software promotions. We may receive a commission when a reader purchases or signs up through an affiliate link, or receive payment for clearly identified sponsored content. We will disclose relevant commercial relationships clearly with the associated content. Affiliate disclosures will appear near the relevant recommendations or links, and sponsored articles or placements will carry a visible label such as “Sponsored” or “Advertisement.” A general policy notice alone will not replace these content-level disclosures.

Future advertising and affiliate partners may use cookies, referral identifiers, pixels, or similar technologies to measure referrals and advertising performance. The information involved will depend on the services selected. Before enabling these services, we will review their data practices, update this policy to describe the actual partners and processing where appropriate, and implement applicable privacy choices. These planned services are not represented as currently active.

Following a link to another website takes you to a service with its own practices. Review that service’s privacy information before submitting data.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and handle related follow-up, resolve a complaint or dispute, protect against misuse, or meet applicable obligations. We determine the appropriate period by considering the purpose and sensitivity of the information, whether the inquiry remains open, and any continuing legal or operational need. Information that no longer serves these purposes should be deleted or anonymized. Retention may differ between WordPress.com, Gmail, spam folders, and provider backups. No fixed automatic deletion schedule is currently enabled; deleting a message in one system may not remove every copy.

Access to site administration and correspondence should be limited to authorized people. No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may browse without submitting a contact form. To ask about information you provided, or to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, use the Contact page and identify the message or information concerned. We may need limited additional information to verify a request. Do not send identification documents unless we have explained why they are needed and provided an appropriate method.

Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law and the circumstances. Requests about Automattic’s independent processing should be directed to Automattic; its privacy rights request guide explains the relevant routes.

Children

AutoSmallBiz is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, contact us so we can review the issue and take appropriate action.

Policy changes

We may revise this policy as the site develops. When a revised policy is published, its effective date will identify the version in effect.
